Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is a Title 1 school in Phoenix, Arizona. Breakfast and lunch are served free for all of our kids. Our school houses a very diverse population with wonderful teachers and staff and students. Many of our students live very hard lives (even harder than we can imagine).

The materials I am requesting will help teach my 5th graders at school.

A detailed list below will help my young learners keep track of their own school supplies and organize themselves.

This fund will provide:

-folders for students for each subject

-pen set for editing and correcting

-pencil case

-notebooks for the whole year

Furthermore, classroom bookshelves will help get our valuable reading materials organized and help teach accountability for keeping our materials organized.

A new class tablet will be used to help get kids reading! As a reward, kids will be able to practice listening comprehension and read online books!
