This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are respectful and want a chance at doing the same activities that families with more resources have been able to provide for their students. I love being able to even out the playing field for them with grant writing and crowdfunding. Students around the world suffered from learning loss from the pandemic, and my students are no exception. Getting back to a normal routine hasn't been easy at school, however.
We have been slowly but surely closing in on the achievement gap, but our supplies to have organized music folders have run out.
When I give my students the means to take good care of their supplies, they keep them nice and take pride in them and what they're doing. Help me help students continue to show their musical pride by having organized folders for academic success.
