My Students

Hello potential donor! This is my first year as a teacher. I teach at the school where I attended as a child. I am an inclusive elementary education teacher of twenty-one second graders in a public school in Boston. Over 70% of my students are learning English as a second language and are below the poverty line.

Nevertheless, they are excited about learning and they come to school every day with hope, expectation and enthusiasm.

My Project

As a first year teacher, organization is a key component in my classroom! Every student needs a structured learning environment where every item has a place.

When the classroom is organized it is easier to find and put away the learning items.

The 4-drawer rolling cart will be used to store all of the subjects materials. The 20 drawer mobile organizer will be used to store different items like headphones for the students to work on Chromebooks. Lastly, the mobile media cart would help me showcase our work from both the projector and document camera more efficiently. 

These pieces of furniture will help us run smoother routines and provide students with an organized learning environment.
