This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The budget for school materials was drastically cut while materials are in disrepair due to age and frequent use. Our classroom rug is dirty and torn, the class folders have been ripped and we need organizational materials for items such as blocks and LEGOs. These simple items will make a huge difference for the students.
My amazing students come from all over the world and impress me each and every day with their positive attitude, creativity and eagerness to learn.
They approach each lesson with their own viewpoint and approach. I love to see how they grow as artists over the course of the school year.
