This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I centered most of my items around the need to help keep my students organized. With 7th grade being their first year in middle school, I have found that the work overload is not managed well. The rolling shelf and storage center will be used for student supplies for easy access, as well as, provide storage space for small group activities and manipulatives that are needed in the classroom. These supplies will go to help them stay organized, on track, and accountable for their work.
I also added some specific supplies like the magents, markers, and pens that I will use during my small group time.
Being able to easily and neatly pull students to my table will allow me to more effective push students to the next level!
