My Students
I have the pleasure of working with a diverse group of 5-6 year old's. My students are kind and compassionate little sponges. They love to learn and do so best in an environment that is warm, inviting and organized
I strongly believe that structure, organization and responsibility are the keys to success.
Therefore, my goal as a kindergarten teacher is to instill a sense of responsibility in my students. An even bigger more challenging task of mine is to make each day as productive as possible. This is done by limiting transitions and staying organized!
My Project
Structure and organization are the keys to success. Chair pockets will ensure that instructional time is maximized, as it will cut down the need to get up and grab supplies. They will also aid in teaching responsibility. Each student's daily necessities will be housed in his or her own chair pocket. This will allow students to be held responsible for their own tools for learning. This will also give them a sense of ownership. As you can see chair pockets will be highly beneficial to our classroom in more ways that one. They will also be used across all subject areas!
