My students are made up of a diverse group of children with diverse economic, social, and ethnic backgrounds. I have many students who speak a second language at home such as Spanish, Armenian, Russian or an Asian language.
My students come from all walks of life, but they deserve an equal opportunity to have resources available to them for their education.
My school is a close-knit community with strong parent support, dedicated teachers, and has the child's interest in mind.
My Project
Students are in need of sturdy organization materials that will keep their pencils, glue sticks, dry erase markers and rags consolidated in one neat and tidy little space.
Pencil boxes are the perfect way to teach my students how to organize their learning space and to keep a neat area.
My students are also in need of creative workstations during our independent work time. Building is a perfect way to keep their minds engaged. My innovation station is the most popular station in the classroom, but I need to keep it updated with new materials the students can use to build and challenge themselves. The building kit I chose allows them to build their own marble mazes or other challenging projects!
