Help me give my students books to read so that they can compete in a statewide reading competition!
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Cooke's classroom raised $342

My Project
Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB) is a tradition that students at my school love to compete in. Students join a team with three other students (usually). Then they pick which books on the list to read and they start reading. Then the competitions start. It's similar to Jeopardy where there is an impartial adult asking them questions about their books. They work together to solve each question. These books will allow multiple kids at a time to read the books they need and want to read.
I've watched this competition turn non-readers into readers many times before and I've watched it grow every student's love of reading who participates.
I can't wait to watch them dive into these books when they come. Thank you in advance!
