My Project
This year, the students are dying to restart our OBOB Club and compete with other students across Oregon in an academic competition around great books. The list of books have questions and discussions that we will be having in our after school club.
So far, 11 students have signed up and are ready to rock and roll!
Many of the students have been unable to compete due to the pandemic and challenges around access to resources. Now, we are ready to kick off a new year with our new 6th graders and the 7th and 8th graders who haven't had a chance to compete since they were in elementary school.
It is my hope to provide paper copies to any student interested in having them. I will also be keeping a set in my room for students to read during their Language Arts period.
I can't wait to see the amazing conversations that will come from the diverse stories, characters, and experiences that the students will connect with this year!
