Order in the Classroom! Storage and Organizational Tools for STEM

Help me give my students caddies, index cards, document pouches, and other organizational tools for our computer science learning and coding!

My Project

In our vibrant STEM Lab, over 300 students eagerly jump into hands-on computer science learning, fueled by excitement and curiosity! With 40 computer mice and 25 pairs of headphones regularly buzzing during our STEM Lab Days, keeping everything organized, protected, and easily accessible is not just a daily challenge; it’s an excellent opportunity to nurture responsibility and care.

To make transitions smoother, encourage student independence, and prolong the life of our tech tools, I want to introduce a simple yet effective organizational system.

Think compartmentalized desk caddies, can cooler sleeves to tuck away mice safely, and sturdy mesh zipper bags for our headphones. These materials will create a clear and intuitive system that students can easily manage on their own.

When students know exactly where things belong (and when those systems are designed with their needs in mind!), they truly take ownership of their space. This not only reduces frustration but also saves precious learning time and extends the lifespan of our valuable supplies.

With your help, I can create a computer lab where students can innovate and learn without being slowed down by tangled cords, missing tools, or broken equipment. Thanks for your support!
