Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Nine students in my Kindergarten classroom are labeled as English language learners. These students need extra support in learning a variety of literacy skills such as oral language, listening and speaking, grammar, reading, and writing.

The materials in this project include games, storytelling kits, books, and art supplies that will help all of my students gain literacy skills they are missing.

My students will learn a multitude of skills as they engage in these learning activities. Their confidence will rise as they practice and learn in a fun and calm environment. I am also asking for prizes to reward my students for making good choices as they practice and work together!
