My Project
I am the VPK Teacher at our school. We truly are blessed to have 5 laptops for daily center use, but we currently have the students sitting on the carpet during computer time. The materials I am asking for are the 5 lap desks will definitely make a difference in their learning.
Learning will be optimized because it will provide more student focus during use of instructional computer-based programs, as well as various other individualized instruction activities.
It will also allow children to utilize and learn correct seating posture needed for computer time and other learning-based activities. Lastly, it will give them the freedom to move to a certain area in class where they feel comfortable, and away from distractions for optimal focus, engagement and achievement.
With our portable lap desks, students can work wherever they feel most inspired! The handy desk features a flat surface at just the right height for kids. Plus, the wooden desk is super-durable for years of repeated use, yet light enough for children to move around the classroom.
