My Students
I have the pleasure of teaching a group of passionate, motivated, and unique 5th graders. There is so much that I can say about them, so much that I don’t know where to start. These students have experienced many challenges that no one their age should have to go through this early in life. Despite their home environments and any other obstacles they face on a daily basis, they come into class every day with a smile on their faces and ready to learn.
I have been fortunate to have a group of students who are not only eager to learn but eager to become a better version of themselves every single day.
They all truly embody the concept of cooperative learning.
My Project
The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional options to participate in group learning while continuing to follow social distancing protocols in the classroom. The headphones will allow the students to work individually in a conducive and quiet space and allow the students to have personal headphones that only they use. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to work alone and quietly. The dry erase set will allow students to participate actively while staying safe as well.
I have seen how interaction can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
