This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Most of my students come from homes where little-to no English is spoken, which adds unique challenges in supporting their academics, but they do not let this stop them from achieving big things each and every day.
My students enjoy learning and take every opportunity to grow.
It is a pleasure to teach them because they understand the value of developing into successful learners. I teach six graders and your donations will help them transition to strong academic middle schoolers!
My Project
These colorful file folders will help my students stay organized during distance learning and face to face. Assignments and materials will be transported using the envelopes and keep safe for student use.
Organization is a skill that middle schoolers need to be successful.
My world history class is very project based. The envelopes will be used to keep their personal materials: interactive notebook pages, writing materials, etc. to keep themselves organized. More importantly due to the pandemic, students will only handle their personal items.
