My Project
I am the art teacher at a therapeutic day school. Our objective is to incorporate more movement in the programming and create a calm environment for my students to mindfully meditate and create in the space. I want their minds to be free as they try the new activities and movements. I hope to utilize the the bean bag chairs and yoga mats in a tranquil space created to assist with mindfulness and emotional exploration. Unfortunately our school is a charter school and they don't have the funding to provide many supplies to our school. the things listed will get me closer to creating a good serene environment.
