Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Imagine a classroom where every student holds the key to unlocking countless worlds, diverse perspectives, and endless possibilities through literature's power. The items chosen will make a difference in my student’s learning by giving them access to literature that will greatly enhance and support the classroom texts that are part of our daily instruction.
Donating literature books to our classroom will provide our students with opportunities to develop critical thinking, empathy, and a lifelong love for reading.
My goal for this project is to transform my classroom library into a sanctuary of learning and imagination where students can explore the depths of human experience and the richness of different cultures through carefully selected books. In addition, I want my students to embrace diverse literature and improve reading comprehension through reading enjoyment.
My students are special because they embrace any opportunity to read books that spark their curiosity for learning new information. They are eager learners and I am their greatest supporter of them having access to books right in the classroom.
