Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Pre-K students are an amazing group of little people, who are always excited to jump from one learning experience to another.
I want them to always have the joy of learning may it be in-person or remote.
I want them to be eager to learn and explore their potential. I want to see my students' eyes light up when they "get it" I just want to provide them with every possible incentive to keep that spark going.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my little ones learning because they will see in these books and lessons people just like them and people who are different from them, but that they all have many things in common.
That everyone's differences is what makes each and everyone unique and special.
The books will teach them that they should celebrate and cherish the uniqueness of themselves, their family, their friends and people in their community.
Through the books and lessons my little ones will be inspired to go for their dreams because they will be able to see themselves and their lives in the diverse characters presented in the books.
