Opening the Door for Careers-Culinary Arts Education

My students need a variety of kitchen supplies, such as can openers, cutting boards, oven mitts, and more.

My Students

We are preparing students for the work force. In my class, many students are discovering their passion for culinary arts.

I have 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who love to be in the kitchen.

My students are eager to learn, and accept the challenge that sometimes comes with cooking and baking. Many of my students already know that they are interested in a career in culinary arts. It's very exciting to see who might be the worlds next great chef!

My Project

Thanks to generous donations in the past, our kitchens have the necessary supplies to do basic cooking tasks. However, with the increased interest in culinary arts, those tools have been overworked and underpaid! I would love for next years students to have the opportunity to use can openers that work properly, pots and pans whose bottom doesn't flake off, and cutting boards that aren't in pieces.

Donations made to this project will not only impact my students next year, but also the many students who will be encouraged to join a culinary class because of this donation.
