Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Pre-K students are an amazing group of little people, who are always excited to jump from one learning experience to another.
I want them to always have the joy of learning may it be in-person or remote.
I want them to be eager to learn and explore their potential.
I want to see my students' eyes light up when they "get it"
I just want to provide them with every possible incentive to keep that spark going.
My Project
My Pre-K students are adventurous and curious little people who love to explore with their senses.
One way I want to inspire their learning is to provide sensory materials that will work in conjunction with our unit lessons.
My little ones love going to the sand and water tables in school, but due to social distancing we can't have as many students at that center.
With these new materials they can still do sensory activities, but individually with their own sets.
We can also create bundles for the kids to take home that we can use when we have our remote learning days.
