it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project seeks funding for two Meta Quest 3s virtual reality (VR) headsets to enhance the learning experience of students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) who face challenges with focus, socialization, and learning disabilities. By immersing these students in virtual environments, we aim to improve their engagement, motivation, and academic performance.
For example, students struggling with focus can benefit from immersive VR experiences that transport them to historical events or distant planets.
This can captivate their attention and reduce distractions. Additionally, students with social challenges can practice communication and teamwork skills in collaborative VR games. By interacting with peers in a virtual setting, they can build confidence and develop social skills.
Funding is necessary to provide our students with the tools they need to succeed. The funds will be used to purchase three Meta Quest 3 VR headsets, along with educational software and resources specifically designed for students with diverse learning needs. By providing these VR headsets, we will empower our students to develop essential life skills, achieve academic success, and experience the joy of learning in a whole new way.
