This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our little learners need accessible texts to build their reading skills and develop a love for books. These books will inspire a joy and curiosity for reading.
My goal for this project is to create a diverse, welcoming library where each of my students can find books that sparks their interests and and a love for reading.
What makes my students special is their perseverance. Each day, they are exposed to new challenges, work hard to overcome them, and every small victory in understanding a new concept is a huge accomplishment for them. This project will give them the tools they need to continue achieving those victories, one page at a time.
