Opening New Worlds: Building Our 3rd Grade Library

My Project

As a first-year third grade teacher, my goal is to create a classroom where every child feels seen, inspired, and excited to learn. One of the most powerful ways to do that is by filling our classroom with books that spark curiosity and imagination.

Many of my students come from low-income families and have limited access to books at home.

I want to build a classroom library that gives them the opportunity to fall in love with reading — a place where they can dive into adventures, explore history, and meet characters who inspire them to dream big.

I am requesting high-interest book sets like the Who Was biography series, Magic Tree House adventures, and other beloved chapter books that will meet a wide range of reading levels and interests. These books will allow my students to see themselves as readers, explorers, and learners.

Your support will help me fill our shelves with stories that will open doors, change lives, and leave a lasting impact. Thank you for helping me give my students the gift of a library filled with heart, imagination, and hope!
