Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will be able to read chapter books at their level and complete book studies. During their book studies they will increase their vocabulary and work on analyzing literary text.
Students at my school will benefit from reading classic literature that will fill them with insight and help them interpret character development, character perspective and theme.
Making personal connections is a goal I hope they can make, in order to spark their interest in reading.
During their book studies, they will also work in groups, which will help them develop their social skills.
