My Project

This fall, all NYC schools started a new reading program. In order for both teachers and students to be successful with this program, many resources require online access.

Having additional technology in the classroom will help students improve their reading comprehension skills.

My school is made up of many different classroom settings. The following technology devices would help set our students up for success:

- 3 Stand-by-me portables for inclusion classrooms with 2 teachers

- 1 touchscreen laptop for student online access

- 1 document camera to display student work

- 1 chart stand to store over 50 literacy and writing charts

I am certain that with your donation, students will have the opportunity to access a plethora of online resources to support their literacy education and become success lifelong readers.
