This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a fourth-grade teacher in a Title I school which means most of our population of students come from low-income families. We have books and supplies that need to be organized so they are easily accessible to students. To cut down on the loss of instructional time, having supplies neatly organized in bins will help my students. We have a small classroom so we will also use these bins to keep backpacks and lunch boxes stored neatly and out of the way so students can move around the room easily.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
