My Project
Reading is fundamental. Reading is also hard if you struggle with comprehension and phonics and are not on grade level. With my students, the key to getting them excited is to show them a relatable person, situation, or familiar place. Books can provide all of those things. Our exceptional group of students is in the middle of struggling to read and enjoying what they read. The books in this project allow our students to work on their reading skills while learning about people, places, and situations that speak to them and some part of their loved experience.
