This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at our school are hard working adolescents who enjoy helping others. They take great pride in assisting others in curricular areas as well as in life. Along with being great people, our students are hungry as ever to be the best musicians they can possibly be.
Our students will always be the first to lend a hand, lend an ear, or lend an hour of work to make the lives of others better.
Their charisma, desire to be great and helpfulness create a community atmosphere of positive learning.
My Project
Our project is working to fund two new clarinet cases and a conductor's stand. We currently have students who do not have clarinet cases that work properly and don't close all the way. We are also asking for a conductor's stand so we can utilize all the technology in the classroom without creating a clutter of stands in the front of the room.
These items will create a classroom environment where our materials are treated with care and the room is organized.
Learning can only occur in a room where items are well maintained and the room is organized.
