This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to read! Some of my books need to be updated from wear and tear. Most of my students have read all the books in my current library and I don’t want them to lose out on their momentum of reading! They are always looking for new books to read and adding these new books to my library will keep their momentum going. Working in a Title I school is challenging and rewarding. There are many needs and helping me update my library will make teaching my students a little easier. Books provide many opportunities to enhance fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, creativity, imagination, adventure and an escape. Thank you for your consideration and support in being a part of our reading journey!
