Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Sometimes our students are distracted by an activity and forget to listen to their bodies. In these events, they might have some accidents on their clothing.
This might cause embarrassment or feelings of insecurity, therefore, this can make them withdraw from the activity, be part of a group, or be isolated from peers.
We are working on creating a safe space closet for our school community. We want our students to feel secure and comfortable asking a grown-up when they need support with personal hygiene.
