My students need some supplies for art projects and we would like to build a listening center library.

My Students

I have 18 students who have shown excellent progress throughout the year. We are heading towards the last 2 months of school. These students continue to show their love of learning and I would like them to be fully prepared to go to Kindergarten.

They have shown me their interest for reading by listening to stories and learning to read independently in the listening center.

Having them read and listen to stories will help to build their vocabulary, listening and comprehension skills.

They also express themselves by using the art center. They enjoy creating small books, painting, gluing and cutting.

My Project

Now that we are near the end of the year, our supplies are running low and we still have many projects to do as well as decorate for our end of the year celebration.

I love to see a student listening to a story and following along in a book.

The students will choose the listening center and spend time reading and listening to stories. We have borrowed books from other classes and we would like to start building our own listening center library.

The students will respond to the literature through art projects, drawings, paintings and writing. I would also like to create an art portfolio for them to keep their work in.
