My Students
My students have overcome so many obstacles to be successful in the classroom. Autism spectrum disorder can make the most simple of tasks feel huge. My students are so smart and love learning and most days they teach me more than I teach them.
Our school is a school that helps students with autism spectrum disorder learn to be successful in a classroom environment and how to connect with the world around them.
Students with ASD often excel in areas such as STEM and STEAM so I like to provide ample opportunities for them to explore as many different projects as possible.
My Project
The products in this project will be used to help students get the most out of online learning. The headphones will help them focus on the online classroom and block out noises that might be taking place within their homes. Students with autism often times have a hard time using trackpads so the mice will help them navigate easier through online classrooms. The digital board and pen will help me as the teacher digitize lessons and teach students online in real time. It will also help me be able to create online lessons that students can access at any time.
