Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Since the inception of mandatory distance learning due to COVID-19, the challenge to keep students engaged from afar has turned out to be daunting. Now, that in-person learning has reconvened, I have found Engaging Online kits like this were wildly successful both in person as well as remote as a perfect Cumulative Summative Assessment for the year. I have successfully implemented this program in the past and am in need of more licenses for the next school year 2022-2023. Finally, I am working on the school to incorporate this assessment into our official curriculum due to its wild popularity. Since I live on Long Island (and teach in the Bronx) a field trip to the actual sight of the murder house (they took place on Long Island) is in the works.
