This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school district is currently 100% free and reduced-price lunch, and the majority of students are English Language Learners. This means that our students do not always have the same advantages as their peers in many other school districts, and they are learning a new language while trying to master state wide curriculum.
My students are extremely eager learners.
We work very hard to provide them with as many opportunities as possible. They enjoy working hard and trying new and innovated activities. They are motivated to learn everything they can.
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers is a website that allows teachers to purchase materials that are created by teachers. This past year those materials have been updated and designed for virtual and in school learning. The final quarter of school will have my students split into two groups, virtual learners and in school learners.
We need materials that can be used both online and in the classroom.
This will allow us to have consistent curriculum and learning opportunities for all students. Teachers Pay Teachers has extremely engaging, interactive, and fun lessons that will help our students to continue their learning during this difficult year.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
