Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Learning about trees in kindergarten is important because it helps children understand the natural world, appreciate the environment, and connect with the cycle of life. It also provides opportunities for hands-on learning and development of various skills. Trees are a fundamental part of the ecosystem, and learning about them helps children understand the interconnectedness of living things and their environment. Understanding the importance of trees can encourage children to become environmental stewards and to learn about sustainable practices.
I will use the materials in this project to foster a love for trees and to create hands-on learning experiences to encourage a love of nature, especially for trees.
