Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students have been engaged in distance learning since March 13th. Every week, students are continuing their learning through our digital platforms. We also meet via video conferencing at least once a week. My students miss school but are hard at work from home.
Help my students and me continue our learning even at a distance.
My Project
We are requesting an iPad with case and AppleCare. This devices will serve two purposes. During distance learning, I can have the device ready to share during our Zoom lessons and to share the screen. I can also use this iPad to make sure students can access their work. Once we are back to school, this device can be added to the rest of our technology used by students.
Once school resumes in the classroom, a recommendation from the CDC is to not allow device sharing.
Since we need to be ready for all possibilities, I would like to have one to one devices to limit students from sharing. This will allow students to access the technology whether we are in class together or continuing distance learning.
