My Students
As a teacher in a school that serves students in Pre-Kindergarten through third grade with different learning styles and levels, it is difficult to actively engage all students. I teach 17 second grade students who are eager to learn new skills and practice them until they are infused into their brains.
The students in my class are excited to accept new challenges with vigor and strive to be the best they can be.
My students are very tech savvy and love to practice new skills using apps and online learning tools. With the assistance of these positive and meaningful learning experiences, students will strive to reach academic excellence and goals.
My Project
Students love to work with all kinds of technology, especially computers! Any educational experience with technology will improve retention and promote active engagement.
The opportunities on Google Classroom are endless and extremely engaging for students learning in the 21st century.
Students will use the two Chromebooks every day during math and reading on a rotating schedule due to the limited supply of technology available in my classroom. The Chromebooks will also be utilized during writing, science, and social studies throughout each school week. With the help of two additional Chromebooks, students will have the opportunity to complete more activities independently by using their own Chromebook!
