Help me give my students The opportunity to read about the heroic story of one boy who survived such a horrible experience. The Night by Ellie Wiesel will be the novel we read for our Holocaust unit.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Funding this project will ensure that each student receives their own copy of the Night. We will be diving deep into the context, annotating text and allowing students to take the books home and making it their own.
My students have a special way of connecting text to self in their compassion and concern.
They will truly enjoy this sad yet heroic true story.
In this day and age, a good book goes beyond any piece of technology available. I want to offer my kids true authenticity, allowing them to learn in a much deeper level.
