Hello! I work with delightful children around the age of 4. These students have an excitement to learn being new to a school setting. My school is located in a low income area where the community is struggling.
Because I am a teacher changing grade levels, there is very little supplies for my classroom that are age and size appropriate. There is NO supplies in my new room for the students to enjoy sitting on and enjoy a book.
Literacy is critical in Pre-K. I need age/size appropriate furniture in my classroom so that the students can feel comfortable and enjoy reading to themselves or to fellow students. Our old hard chairs around our tables are not inviting.
With your help I can create a warm, cozy environment for my students so that they can foster a love of reading. No one likes to read in old hard chairs! Your help will make all the difference in the world.
