This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students need the one on one experience. Having an iPad will allow me to move around the room and have personal, and private conferences with my students about grades, and missing assignments.
Having private conversations with my students will also help me build relationships with them.
These conversations will ensure that my students feel comfortable when asking questions about grades, or missing assignments.
If students are more comfortable about asking questions it will ensure that they are successful each semester. They won't have to wait until the end of day to ask questions. The conversations can take place during small group or independent reading time.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
