This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students' willingness to learn while trying something different is one of the many things I love about them. Ninety-nine percent of my students are English Language Learners and first generation Americans.

Learning how to read is so important in a child's early years.

The more a child is exposed to reading the stronger a student's fluency, vocabulary and comprehension will be. "The Ranger in Time, The Oregon Trail" is a simple yet fun way to view the Oregon Trail through the eyes of a dog.

This novel study will captivate the students as the main character, Ranger takes the students on his adventure and keeps them wanting to continue to read more. These novels will be used in reading and social studies as we focus on teaching across curriculums. Please help me provide these novels for my students. We also need a set of whiteboards to use daily for a variety of activities.
