This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Year to year, all of the books in our school library get used by many students, specifically the chapter books. The chapter books in our library this year have been loved by countless students and are in need of a little upgrade - in condition and in interest.

As students at our school grow in their reading strength, they are ready for more graphic novels and chapter books to challenge them!

The books in this project would put brand new chapter books in the hands of the students and would allow us to replace some of the most torn and tattered books in our library.
