Help me give my students the remaining books on this year's student wish list for our library collection.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Barron's classroom raised $746

My Project
Each year, we get a budget to purchase books to add to our school library collection and although we are very grateful to have a budget, it's never quite enough to fulfill our list of requested books. This always leaves us with a few that don't make it into the order. In addition, this budget gets spent early in the year, which means books that are published in late winter and in the spring have to wait to be purchased in next year's budget, despite our students continuing to make requests for new additions throughout the entire school year.
With the help of this project, we'll be able to bridge the gap between our annual budget and fulfilling all of the requests of our students who eagerly await the arrival of the next chapter, newest volume, or latest sequel to their favorite series.
There is no worse feeling for a teacher librarian to have to let a student who is eager and excited to read that the book they're looking for isn't on our shelves. In order to keep encouraging our students to grow as readers and build lifelong reading habits, we want to be able to provide our students with what they are excited to read.
