Help me give my students an iMac, which will allow them to use advanced publishing software and develop real-world creative skills beyond what Chromebooks can support, so they can design a professional-quality yearbook.
Yearbook class is a powerful learning experience for students, but our current tools, primarily Chromebooks, limit what students can achieve in terms of design, layout, and photo editing. To elevate the quality of our yearbook and to provide our students with real-world, industry-relevant skills, we are seeking donations for an iMac.
An iMac will offer access to advanced software like Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and other professional-grade design tools that are not compatible with Chromebooks.
With an iMac, our students can do amazing things such as:
Work on a more polished, professionally designed yearbook,
Learn 21st-century digital publishing skills used in real careers, Manage high-resolution photo editing and layout tasks with speed and efficiency, Collaborate more effectively on complex design projects.
This investment will not only benefit the current yearbook staff, but it will also serve future student teams for years to come. An iMac will empower our students to produce a yearbook that truly reflects their creativity and hard work.
