This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Small group instruction plays a vital role in an ICT classroom. Students tend to focus better when they are working with a teacher in a smaller group setting. They stay focused, on task, and feel more comfortable sharing their ideas. Working in a low income school in our community, it is difficult to access materials needed for students to succeed. Right now, I do not have a space to work more closely with the students with disabilities who need more one on one instruction.
This portable dry erase board will make such a difference in my students learning and it will accommodate their needs.
I will be able to move myself to where students feel comfortable learning in the classroom to help with their independent work. My students are noticeably engaged in their work and less disruptive when they are given the opportunity to work in small groups.
Please consider donating to this project so my students can have a successful school year!
