This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my 4th grade class deserve a chance to become life-long readers. I hope to give them the tools they need to choose the right book or series that fits their needs. Students who are avid readers tend to be more confident in ELA and writing; I want my students to get out of the mindset that they are not good at reading and writing! They need the tools to succeed and I plan to show them the way with a library with various titles at their own level. We are in the classroom more than we are at home and if they learn these skills now hopefully they will follow them for many years to come!
