This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 3 sections of 5th grade ELA (English/Language Arts). I work hard to keep a steady flow of new books in my classroom library so that every student has the opportunity to find a book they like.
One of my biggest goals is to help students fall in love with reading. I asked my class for some suggestions for books for our library. I also picked some from an author I have been following for a while. I love they way Alane Adams connects with teachers, and I hope to introduce her books to my classroom.
