This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is all about fine-motor expression and skill work. Who doesn't love LEGOS and the opportunity to build?

Fine-motor work in the upper elementary years is crucial to a student's written expression but more importantly, it's key to unlocking our kiddo's learning potential, hand-eye coordination, and academic/critical thinking.

LEGO aquariums, ocean creatures in a bottle, and a framed "LEGO portrait" are all examples of amazing opportunities fo collaboration. Working together to create these pieces will allow students to build their community and their social skills- one brick at a time. The base plates will be used for research projects that are 3D and visual. Students will research food chains from a variety of difference ocean creatures as we deep dive into the ocean biome. This will be a project like no other.
