This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have students ranging from pre-k to fifth grade that are included in the special education program. These students are eager to learn and enjoy being at school but need additional support. Support for these students looks different and can require various forms of presentation.
This project will allow my special needs students the ability to access colorful resources such as social stories, incentive charts, potty training materials, etc.
which will aid in their educational experience. Having materials in color helps my students remain engaged and encourages their continued participation.
