Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
There are so many things I love about my students. I think that their personalities which makes each of them unique. Also to see growth in them academically and in their life at home. I love to see that some of them try their best to fight the odds of their condition and take pride of the effort they put in their work. One of them learned to paint with me and you could see her satisfaction to me that was priceless.
My Project
The opportunity of having these materials is almost as important as having my students in the classroom, these supplies play an important role when it comes to daily activities, especially when it comes to my students individual needs.
By donating to our project you will not only help to improve students proficiency you will also help them achieve their individual academic and socio-emotional goals because you are giving them the opportunity to have the tools to build a brighter and more successful year.
The use of these materials will allow me to make a difference in my students life because I will be able to address their unique individual need for instance: Using electronics will it help me capture their academic growth, one image will help them tell their story about their struggles and their achievements most times these images speak for themselves and transmit others what my students can't express.
The use of laminating their work will provide an easy way to preserve, show and share their work. By having puzzles in the classroom students will be able to be more proactive and focus on increasing their learning.
I believe that having the necessary tools when needed is the key to help our children to meet their goals.
