This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Fairy tales are a great way to teach many concepts to young children. We love to take a story and use it not only for literacy but as a jumping off point for science and inquisitive thinking.
Literacy combined with STEM creates many opportunities for deep thinking and hands on learning.
It would be great to have resources to make that happen more often in class. Some materials like puppets, props and building supplies would be especially helpful as visual aids to our young English language learners. Thank you for considering our project.
